Punjab Police invites application for the position of male and female applicants for 7416 Constable (Male and Female) in the District police cadre and Armed Police cadre of Punjab police. Apply online before 21st June 2016.

Age Limit :- The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 28 years.
Qualification :- Candidates should have passed +2 class examination board or equivalent from a recognized education board / university and the applicant must have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.
Selection Procedure :- The selection of the candidates will be on the basis of physical measurement test (PMT) / physical screening test (PST) / interview cum personality rest and personal interview.
Age Relaxation :- The upper age of the candidates in relaxable for the following specified categories to the extent indicated below:-
i) By 5 years for candidates belonging to ST/ SC/ BC communities.
ii) By 3 years for Ex- serviceman.
Application fee :- Candidates are required to pay application fee Rs 400/- for general categories candidates and Rs 100/- for schedule caste categories candidates (SC) / Schedule tribe categories candidates (ST) / Backward class categories candidates (BC) through net banking / cards or Challan. Ex-servicemen categories candidates are exempted from application fee.
